Story
Jude Castillo and Brian Grant are partners in both life and art and are the artists behind Earthraven Handcrafts.
Jude started her crafting journey by making jewelry to sell in order to follow The Grateful Dead all around the country. From there, she has been a lifelong maker dabbling into many art forms in metals and fibers.
Brian grew up picking rocks off of the ground and still does so to this day! That led to his love of rockhounding and then of metals to showcase his findings.
A shared interest in all things rocks and metals as well as a love of seeing live music brought them together.
Now we create together!
For the last ten years, we have been learning and building up our studio space in order to create handmade jewelry. You can often find us taking jewelry classes, rocking out as well as rockhounding all over the US, or gawking at gems at our local mineral and rock shows in Oregon! We strive to be as environmentally conscious in our work as possible and therefore choose not to use certain chemicals or animal products in our studio space.
